Get inspired, build an idea, develop a robot, and WIN BIG! It’s a win, win, win, win proposition for the Microsoft Robotics @ Home competition and for us at Mondo Robot… because we get to draw the awesome robots and design the rad posters for it. I guess that’s win, win, win, win, win, win!

For this “World’s Premier Student Technology Competition” we created a visual system that brought to life the creativity and imagination that students bring to solving the world’s most difficult problems.

For Imagine Cup 2010 in Poland, we utilized photography to capture both reality and sketchy imaginative drawings in the same space. This creative approach brought a new dimension of life and possibility to the competition.

Microsoft DreamSpark is a program that allows qualified students to download free Microsoft development software. This identity takes on exploration and imagination to encourage students to create through the power of software.

The distressed graphics and warm colors in the design purposefully contradicted the traditional Microsoft brand in their pursuit to change brand perception and create a more youthful identity for the international student program.

Clusters of technology were networked together to emphasize the interconnected nature of technology and the Microsoft Student Tech Clubs from around the world.
