The Mondo Robot business cards are fun, personal, and tactile. Using colored stickers for contact information on top of a die cut base allowed us to create individualized icons which are memorable and unique to each team member. Microsoft’s Developer and Platform Evangelism Team gives customers, partners and the academic community the tools they need to push the boundaries of what technology can do. They asked us to refresh their team’s identity and here’s what we did to push boundaries.

For this “World’s Premier Student Technology Competition” we created a visual system that brought to life the creativity and imagination that students bring to solving the world’s most difficult problems.

For Imagine Cup 2010 in Poland, we utilized photography to capture both reality and sketchy imaginative drawings in the same space. This creative approach brought a new dimension of life and possibility to the competition.

This brand refresh exercise allowed us to create an elegant, sophisticated look that reinforced the DIVA brand and elevated Front Porch Digital above the competition.

Program your virtual Robot to compete in mazes, rescues and battle in virtual 3D environment. Earn reputation points and create your own RoboChamps card that you can embed in your Web page. All features built into this competition platform we built in partnership with Microsoft.

RoboChamps is an online game that allows users to control virtual robots in online multiplayer robot battles and challenges. We rocked this identity to compliment the fun, but scientific aspect of creating robots. Did we mention we like robots?

The distressed graphics and warm colors in the design purposefully contradicted the traditional Microsoft brand in their pursuit to change brand perception and create a more youthful identity for the international student program.

Reminiscent of doodles that students create in class, the sketches in this concept represent a window into the student’s expression, imagination and creativity. A perfect fit for Microsoft’s program that inspires Students to create, express and share ideas with one another.
